This morning we headed off to the Holden Museum. It was pretty good, full of obviously....Holdens...and lots of interesting information.Sophie was particualy interested in the Ned Kelly Car.
After an hour the girls had had enough so while the others continued through the museum I took the girls over to the park over the road to run off some steam!
After the Holden Museum James, Trish and Jimmy went to the Riverina Museum which showed all the history of the port and steam boats while I took the girls for some serious fun to Sqiggles Play House! Sqiggles is a combination of playshak and lake leaynyer for those in NT and a combination of Fun Factory and a water park for WA. Needless to say the girls had a great time and we were late meeting the others for lunch!
Important stuff out of the way we headed back to the caravan park for nap time and to send Libby off on her way we took the scenic river drive. Sent Libby and me off but not tough old boots Sophie who rarely sleeps! After our nap James took the girls for a swim in freezing water while i tidied up the camper and car. Sophie made a friend in the pool and did not want to get out thou Olivia was sent out after half an hour as she was blue!
Enjoyed a lovely curry for dinner and then took a walk up and down the main street as it was a lovely night. Tomorrow we are headed for Wagga Wagga!
Nite
