5th April

We almost adopted a cat today! The caravan park in Mildura had a pet cat that was very very very friendly. So friendly in fact that all last night until early this morning Olivia was scared of it...in fact she woke about 2 am to hear it meowing and screamed...would not stop until i put her in our bed! Yet by morning she was picking it up. I swear if we did not have the rest of this holiday to go i would put it in my car. It needs a wash thou but so does the car! hehe. On the road by 730 and had lunch at Swan Hill. As the VIC border is along the Murray River it is twisty and windy like the river so we travelled along and across the border all day! The big Murray River Cod is in Swan hill and the girls really enjoyed it. Sophie asked if we were having fish and chips for lunch!

After lunch we headed on to Echuca which we reached by 2pm which meant we were in time for the last paddle boat ride of the day! The girls were very ecited about going on the boat but unfortunatly that excitment wore off before the end of the ride btoh girls being in trouble a few times. Dispite this it was a plesant trip down the Murray with lots to see.

After the boat ride we booked into the caravan park to set up while James went to buy Libby a new mattress as hers went down and refused to go back up! A lovely stir fry for dinner followed by ice cream even if it was cold and now after this i am headed to bed!

Holden museum tomorrow for all you fans and for ford fans too bad too sad im not going there! hehe
