Cold cold cold cold! It was 5 last night. We are sleeping in a freezer..opps i meant to say camper! Off to buy a heater today even if we never use it again. Sleep in two layers of clothing (kids 3) also 2 blankets (again kids 3) and still cold! Blowing frost at one another like dragons and teeth involentry chattering when i get up to the kids. Im having a good time on this holiday but it think we need to head north faster!
Took the girls to Traintasia this morning. Some hobbist in Dubbo has set up a marvoulus train set with three diff sorts of trains, moving busses, show rides, ski lifts, even little people and kids on a see saw and for a small fee ($6 over 6) you can see it. There are buttons the kids can puch to start each scene and in one there is a wedding with tiny people taking pictures (their tiny cameras even flash) and another with a building on fire and the firemen puttiny it out! I took some photos but they dont do it justice. Sophie and Olivia thought it was wonderful and Sophie wanted a train set badly but the cheapest was $160 and sorry darling but your not old enough for a train set at that price just yet!
After this we met the in laws in town for lunch and looked through main street. Olivia has developed an adversion to the pram or being carried and so insisted on walking while Sophie seems to have lost the use of her legs and sits in the babies pram! This happens a lot lately! After lunch James took Jimmy and Sophie back to get the other car while Trish, Libby and I took advantage of the sunshine to walk back to the caravan park where the girls finished their nap, had a ride on their bikes and then had dinner. James had found us a heater by this time so the night was not half as cold though Olivia is getting harder and harder to put to sleep. Boot camp it will be for two little girls when we get home! hehe.
Early start tomorrow, heading for Bourke NSW then next day off to Charlieville QLD to see my sister ,brother in law and cute cousin Cassie! Three nights with no travel and get to sleep in a house again! Loving our trip but getting closer to home is making me want to just be there and set up my house already!
Nite all
