How nice it was to wake in a proper bed in a proper room in a proper house! Girls woke at 6.30 and by 7.30 James had taken them to the beach and park so rest of the house could sleep and i could do the chores. I enjoyed a cuppa and a chat with Aunty Lorraine and at 11 we headed to the shops to buy some stuff. Got James some clothes as we were being taken out to dinner that night and also bought some birthday presents for relatives who are soon to have special days. We enjoyed a lovely quiet afternoon catching up with other rellie on the phone and resting while the girls had a wonderful time playing with the toys Aunty Lorraine had left over from when her kids were little.
Had a lovely dinner at the local hotel where the girls were pretty well behaved and as a result enjoyed an ice cream with sprinkles! Lorraine, David and their friends wer shocked that my girls ate fish and salad for dinner but as we all know my girls eat well! By the time we got home and got the girls to bed it was after 9 and so i had fingers crossed they would sleep in tomorrow!
