17th April

Had a pretty bad night, the girls were up a few times each and Olivia woke up spewing (again) not sure what was wrong but seems she has an upset tummy and we spent the rest of the night on the couch so that the others could sleep. Sam and Karl cooked us a lovely breakfast of bacon and eggs while the girls helped to whip up some pancakes (home made). After breakfast Karl (being a nurse) called upthe hospital and found out the doctor had just arrived, so James, Sophie and I zipped over to get checked out.

It seems James was bitten by something (not sure what...tests taken) and has antibiotics and Sophie had a colesore in her nose that she picked, infected and spread so she is also now on antibiotics! What a healthy lot we are exxpecially if you iclude Olivia's sickness and my dermatitis covered hands! hehe

After this we went back to Sams and washed the bedclothes Libby messed up and packed the car as we had decided to leave at 6.30 the next morning. The Historic house is not open on a Sunday and so Sam took us down to the school where she works as a computer teacher to children over the air. She showed us the map of where the schools students are (150 families and 200 students), the room where they go on air (where the girls got to talk to each other)the teachers cubicles where they prepare their lessons and also the mail room.

Aunty Sam, Uncle Karl and Cousin Cassie then gave the girls their Easter Bilby;s and we gave Cassie her rabbit and craft activity and there were smiles all round! After this we left Libby with them and went to the Bilby Experience where we watched a film about the making of the Bilby fence (Sophie promtly fell asleep) and then went out to see some Bilbies they are breading to release into the wild.

After this we enjoyed Chicken Keiv and salad that Karl had prepared and tried to put the girls to bed. It was 9.30 before Sophie drifted off and 10.30 before we got Olivia to sleep as she is being really difficult at bed time lately.
